I hope that you've enjoyed your
visit! If you're in the mood for more NES and Famicom-related
fun, be sure to check out the following sites.
Lost Levels - If you love reading about unreleased games, then you'll love (the?) Lost Levels. The site features exhaustive articles on unreleased games, with plenty of screencaps and a nice graphical design to hold your attention. |tsr's NES Archive - An absolutely exhaustive source of information on the NES, Famicom, and Famicom Disk System. It's one of my favorite sites, and even though it's no longer updated there's still enough content here to keep you reading for hours. NESVideos - This website is home of many dedicated NES speedrunners, people who try to complete NES games in as short a time as possible. They tinker around with game mechanics in emulators, discovering many glitches and secrets and playing in what essentially amounts to slow-motion to complete games with incredible precision and accuracy. I recommend viewing their Megaman videos in particular, though all of them are great to see what you can be accomplished with machine-enhanced reflexes and an eye for detail. NES World - NES World was one of the first NES websites created and it's been around for ages, so you know that it's a mature site full of content. For whatever reason, I've never liked it all that much myself, probably because a lot of its pages are just cartscans without much background information on what's being presented. A lot of people love it, though, so take a look and see if you do too! |
